Unity Tenth has nothing to gain by hiding the fine print when you sign your agreement to work on a new website project. If you are interested in knowing what you’re signing before.. well, signing it.. then you can check out the terms of services page here. You will, of course, get a copy of these terms in your agreement. It’s also highly recommended that you print off your agreement, invoice, etc. and keep it for your records! The link to the terms are also located in the footer of this website and in your Growth Center Account Dashboard. No. In the past, Unity Tenth would redesign websites that are already hosted. While it did save money, it created many more problems for both Unity Tenth and the client. Unity Tenth is about being Simply Smart. Unity Tenth will redesign your website from the ground up using preferred, trusted companies. WordPress.com uses WordPress.org. (What?!) When you see references of WordPress on this website, it’s more than likely referring to WordPress.org. WordPress.org is a stand-alone Content Management System, or CMS, that is generally hosted with a different server (such as GoDaddy, Blue Host, 1&1, Flywheel, or Host Gator to name a few). Plus, WordPress.org is a little more flexible when it comes to making cosmetic, drastic changes to your site. But, it can have some security issues if not hosted properly. WordPress.com is a managed WordPress blogging platform and social community. It’s mainly for people who love to blog (online journal). While you can make some changes to the theme (and even add plugins, but you’d have to pay extra), it’s more challenging for web designers to make cosmetic, drastic changes. However, WordPress.com is managed WordPress, so it is very safe and secure. While Unity Tenth would rather work with WordPress.org, at the end of the day, it is your organization’s decision as to what works best. Greg Narayan has a YouTube video that has a very recent explanation of the two platforms. You can watch the video below to get a better idea. Unity Tenth will help you find a domain name if you sign up to be a Self Service or Full Service client. Your domain will be researched and registered with GoDaddy. Also, when you sign up for Full or Self Service a hosting account is already included, which eliminates the tedious task of finding a reliable hosting provider. Your hosting will be set up with Flywheel. If you wish to find and register your own domain and hosting accounts while maintaining the costs & upkeep for them (outside of Flywheel), Unity Tenth can help you do that at an hourly rate of $50. If you have Self Service, you are free to choose any other domain registrar and hosting provider that best suits your budget. If you have Full Service, you can cancel your Full Service status any time and find a more affordable solution if you would like. If you’re not signed up with Full or Self Service and need help with finding a domain or hosting provider, Unity Tenth can consult and help you at $30/hour. However, please be aware that you will be responsible for designing and maintaining your website. If you want your website designed, too, then sign up for either Self or Full Service. What you will need before Unity Tenth can build your website successfully will be: *The link to Fiver is an affiliate link. Unity Tenth will be compensated if you make a purchase through the link. Greenthumb is the new support service from Unity Tenth. This service will allow your questions to be answered faster and more thoroughly by a dedicated support team. The support service has two types of plans, an extended support plan and a one-time plan. Extended Support Plans allow you to get ongoing support for your WordPress website if you find yourself asking for more and more help. The plans also come with other enhancements, such as security/vulnerability checks, uptime monitoring, search engine optimization, priority support from dedicated account representatives, and more. Of course, some of the features vary based on whether you get a Lite, Blue, or Gold plan. Each plan comes with a 30 day no questions asked satisfaction guarantee. That means, no risks! Learn more about the plans on the support services page. One Time Fix Support is great if you just need support for ONE thing. Instead of just paying for an extended plan, you’ll just get one ticket. An expert will work on your issue (as long as it doesn’t take 30 minutes of support time). Also, you’ll only get a limited number of “responses” to resolve your ticket. One time fix tickets are just $49 per ticket and can be purchased here. When you get either a one-time fix support ticket or an extended support plan, you’ll have access to special support areas where you can manage your tickets. One-time fix tickets can be found here. Extended support tickets can be found here. If you forget the email, contact customerservice@unitytenth.com. You can pay with a check, money order, debit card, credit card, or your PayPal account. Please, no cash. The most preferred (and fastest) method of payment is online through PayPal. PayPal can process debit and credit cards without you having an account. If you do have a FREE PayPal account, you can connect your bank to your PayPal and process an ACH (automatic clearing house) payment. That method is similar to paying with a check and it takes about 3 to 5 business days to clear. To see how to link your PayPal business account (which is also FREE) to your bank, check out this article from PayPal. Your invoice that is generated in your Growth Center Account Dashboard automatically connects to PayPal. You will be able to pay instantly for your services through your invoice. Checks and money orders are accepted. You must make them out to “Brandon Tabor” and you can mail them to the address seen on the invoice. No matter which payment method you choose, please note that your services or project will not start until the invoice is paid in full. If you submit a check or money order, they will have to arrive and be processed before work can begin. You can do this one of three ways. PLEASE TRY THE FIRST TWO before using the final. Preferred Methods: Growth Center Account Dashboard Last Resort Method: Send your documents via email to this address. Please, ONLY do this if the first 2 methods don’t work.
