These frequently asked questions will help you to navigate through Unity Tenth’s Web Design service.  Please check back for more FAQ’s.  If you would like to add a question, please suggest one by leaving a comment below.

Basic Website Design

Unity Tenth will help you find a domain name if you sign up to be a Self Service or Full Service client. Your domain will be researched and registered with GoDaddy.

Also, when you sign up for Full or Self Service a hosting account is already included, which eliminates the tedious task of finding a reliable hosting provider.  Your hosting will be set up with Flywheel.

If you wish to find and register your own domain and hosting accounts while maintaining the costs & upkeep for them (outside of Flywheel), Unity Tenth can help you do that at an hourly rate of $30.

If you have Self Service, you are free to choose any other domain registrar and hosting provider that best suits your budget.  If you have Full Service, you can cancel your Full Service status any time and find a more affordable solution if you would like.

If you’re not signed up with Full or Self Service and need help with finding a domain or hosting provider, Unity Tenth can consult and help you at $30/hour.  However, please be aware that you will be responsible for designing and maintaining your website.

If you want your website designed, too, then sign up for either Self or Full Service.

What you will need before Unity Tenth can build your website successfully will be:

  • A completed service order form.
  • Your organization’s credentials for accounts including but not limited to PayPal, domain registrar (if you already own a domain), Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.
    • You are NOT required to have all of these things, but if you do have it, then it will be necessary to send.
  • Your organization’s assets which includes, but are not limited to:
    • Logo (Don’t have one?  Let Fiverr make one for you.*)
    • Email address(s) & contact information
    • Page/Post content (Writers block?  Let Fiverr write the content for you.*)
    • Original, non-copyrighted pictures

  • Unity Tenth’s process to get a website for your organization is quite simple.  However, it is not a set-it-and-forget-it-thing.  Building a website is a team effort between your organization and Unity Tenth. The reason for this collaboration is to ensure 3 things:
    • Your website is user friendly for your visitors,
    • Your website is user friendly for you,
    • Your website represents your organization in the most professional manner.
  • Here’s a brief rundown of what you should expect in order to get a website designed by Unity Tenth:
    • Complete and submit the appropriate order form for either Self Service or Full Service.
    • Sign up for a free Growth Center Account (on the following page). YOU MUST HAVE A GROWTH CENTER ACCOUNT TO CONTINUE!
    • Unity Tenth will email you credentials for your Growth Center Account. The Growth Center is your account and project dashboard.  You will be able to sign the terms digitally, make payments online, submit work tickets, upload assets, and more.  You will also receive a link to set up a meeting date a time to get the final details of your project (BEFORE WE CAN PROCEED, WE MUST HAVE THIS MEETING!!)
    • You’ll be contacted by Unity Tenth at your requested time to get some final details about your project, such as information on your organization, special design notes, etc.
    • You’ll receive emails to log into your account dashboard to sign the terms and pay the invoice. Your invoice must be paid in full before we can proceed with your project.  Self Service clients will get an invoice of 20% of the total project cost.  Full Service will get an invoice of the first month’s subscription.
    • Unity Tenth works on your website. You will submit assets that need to be included on your website (content, pictures, logo, links, etc.).  Unity Tenth allows you to write the content for your website since you know your organization best.  If you don’t have time to do it, or if you don’t have anything to say, you can find someone on Fiverr to write it for you.  Click on this link to visit their website.  It’s an affiliate link, so if you purchase something, I will get compensated.
    • Unity Tenth will send you an email notifying you that your website is ready for a review of the first draft. You will get a link to look at it (don’t worry, no one will be able to see the site at this point but you).  We’ll go back and forth making changes to the site until you “sign off” on the website. Make your comments through the Growth Center, please! PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY CHANGE THAT IS MADE WILL REQUIRE REVIEW UNLESS YOU SAY THAT YOU HAVE “SIGNED OFF” ON THE PROJECT.
    • (Only for Self Service clients) You will get a final invoice for the remainder of the amount which must be paid in full before your website is officially launched, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are unable to pay in full, Unity Tenth can work with you.
    • You (or your webmaster) gets trained on how to operate the website.
    • You enjoy your new website!!

Growth Center Account

You can pay with a check, money order, debit card, credit card, or your PayPal account.  Please, no cash.  The most preferred (and fastest) method  of payment is online through PayPal.

PayPal can process debit and credit cards without you having an account.  If you do have a FREE PayPal account, you can connect your bank to your PayPal and process an ACH (automatic clearing house) payment.  That method is similar to paying with a check and it takes about 3 to 5 business days to clear.

Your invoice that is generated in your Growth Center Account Dashboard automatically connects to PayPal.  You will be able to pay instantly for your services through your invoice.

Checks and money orders are accepted.  You must make them out to “Brandon Tabor” and you can mail them to the address seen on the invoice.

No matter which payment method you choose, please note that your services or project will not start until the invoice is paid in full.  If you submit a check or money order, they will have to arrive and be processed before work can begin.
